Arizona's public art
During the annual American Institute of Architects Arizona Conference, I enjoyed lunch next to these Joan Waters creations.
Our location ?...a nice upper story outdoor perch (and a city view across over the rooftop of Saint Mary's Basilica) within the southeast corner of the Sheraton Grand Phoenix Hotel.
Our local AIA leadership tasked us with different discussions, depending on which table we were sitting. Our tabled was challenged with the topic "public art". We had a nice chat led by Matt Salenger AIA. Coincidentally, it became more personal with my friend Joan's work installed next to us.
